Undoing schema changes (Drop Object)

ApexSQL Recover 2008.06.0838 and below

SUMMARY

This article describes how to undo schema changes that occur as a result of a DROP [Object] operation.

DESCRIPTION
1. Open ApexSQL Recover and point to your SQL Server:


2. Select the ‘Recover lost object due to a Drop [Object] operation’ recovery option


3. Specify the database for recovery:


4. Select the ‘Several sources are available for data recovery’ option.


5. Specify the available data sources:


6. Specify the path and the name for the recovery script and click ‘Finish’:


7. Open the generated recovery script and review its contents to verify it contains the required data:


8. Run the generated script against your database to recover the lost objects.
